This map is, of course, not very reliable.

In some countries, different checkers game are played, and it is not mentioned here.

For example, in Southern and Eastern USA, pool is played, but less than American regular checkers ; but pool is mentioned because it is only found there. In Brazil, a lot of people play international game, and in Italy, International game begins to be played.

And in USA, in the same town, American checkers is played in some districts, pool in other ones, Spanish damas in other ones.

I don't have informations for some countries. If you have, please send me a mail (Groenland is not the most important, even if it appears like a large green zone, and Chinese checkers are not a traditional Chinese game).
